It also schedules Telegram, Messenger and Instagram direct messages and emails, and runs drip campaigns. New Max Yearly subscribers currently get 25% off the first year on Google Play. ### What it does - Schedule WhatsApp messages to contacts, groups and broadcast lists, once or recurring (daily, weekly, monthly). - Schedule WhatsApp Status updates. - Auto-reply to incoming WhatsApp messages by keyword, phrase or contact. - Bulk and personalised messages from a CSV list; SKEDit sends to each contact individually. - Attachments: images, documents, PDFs and audio. - AI assistant that writes and rewrites message text, plus AI images, voice notes and video (beta). - Telegram, Messenger and Instagram direct messages, and email, scheduled the same way. - Drip campaigns: multi-step message sequences sent automatically over days or weeks. ### How sending works, and what it needs At the scheduled time SKEDit opens WhatsApp on your phone and sends the message using Android's accessibility service, the same way a person would tap. Because of this: - The phone must be on and online at the scheduled time. - The screen lock can stay on: SKEDit can unlock the phone at the scheduled time with a PIN or password you save in the app (pattern and fingerprint unlock are not supported). Smart Lock, which stays active for 4 hours at a time, or no screen lock also work. - Battery optimisation must be turned off for SKEDit, and auto-start turned on for SKEDit on Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO and Vivo phones. Most failed sends come from these two settings. On Android, SKEDit works with the normal WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app on the phone. SKEDit uses Android accessibility services to automate message sending on your phone. Your WhatsApp account credentials are never stored or accessed. **Can I schedule messages to groups?** Yes. You can schedule messages to individual contacts, groups and broadcast lists. **Does SKEDit work when my phone is offline?** SKEDit requires your phone to be online at the scheduled time to send messages. Keep your phone connected to ensure reliable delivery. **Can I attach files and images to scheduled messages?** Yes. SKEDit supports images, documents, PDFs and audio files as attachments on scheduled messages. **Is there a limit to how many messages I can schedule?** Free users can have up to 5 scheduled messages waiting at a time. Pro raises that to 30, and Max has no limit. **Is there a limit on the number of WhatsApp recipients per scheduled message?** Your plan sets the number of recipients per message: 1 on Free, up to 30 on Pro, and no limit on Max. On any plan, keep each scheduled message to 250 recipients or fewer so it sends reliably. SKEDit forwards to five contacts at a time, a limit WhatsApp applies globally, and each contact receives the message in their own chat. **Can I schedule two or more WhatsApp messages at the exact same time?** No. Schedule each message to a unique minute. SKEDit sends by mimicking taps on screen, so two messages at the same time can leave one pending or send to the wrong contact. Leave about 35 to 45 seconds between schedules of 10 recipients. **My scheduled WhatsApp message succeeds once, then fails. How do I fix it?** Turn off battery optimisation for SKEDit in your phone settings, and turn on auto-start for SKEDit on Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO and Vivo phones. Battery optimisation can switch off the accessibility service SKEDit needs. **How much does SKEDit cost?** The app is free to download, and the Free plan holds up to 5 scheduled messages at a time. In the United States on Google Play, Pro costs USD 4.99 a month or USD 26.99 a year and Max USD 8.99 a month or USD 59.99 a year (8 Oct 2026). Prices vary by country.
