What is SKEDit?

SKEDit is a marketing and productivity tool for small businesses and busy individuals that covers the full communication cycle. SKEDit schedules WhatsApp/Telegram messages & WhatsApp Status, auto-sends WhatsApp messages, and auto-replies to incoming responses.

Is there a limit on the number of WhatsApp recipients I can schedule a message to?

You can schedule a message to as many recipients as you wish — there is no limit on the number of WhatsApp recipients you can add to a schedule.

SKEDit will automate your message, forwarding to five contacts at a time. WhatsApp introduced this stricter limit globally to slow the spread of misinformation on the platform.

You can create a SKEDit group and add the contacts you frequently message together. This way you only add them once and select that group as a recipient for future messages.

Note: SKEDit messages contacts in a SKEDit group individually — each contact receives the message in their own chat window.
Can I schedule two or more WhatsApp messages at the exact same time?

No. You must not schedule two or more messages to the same time/minute. Each message should be scheduled to a unique time. SKEDit automates sending by mimicking user behavior on screen — just as you can't manually send two messages at the exact same time, SKEDit can't either.

Scheduling two messages at the same time can cause: one succeeding while the other fails or stays pending; all messages staying pending; all messages failing; or a recipient mismatch where a message goes to the wrong contact.

How much time to leave between schedules?

10 recipients: ~35–45 seconds
15 recipients: ~50–60 seconds
Attachments not sending with Email Scheduling — what to do?

The file must be uploaded to the email server before it can be delivered. If the scheduled time arrives before the upload finishes, the email sends without the attachment.

After confirming your schedule, watch for the "Uploading Files" status bar at the top of the screen. Make sure large files fully upload before the scheduled send time.

If the issue persists, email us at [email protected] and include a video recording showing the problem.

Dual WhatsApp Messenger is not supported — why?

Some manufacturers (Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, etc.) allow running two versions of messenger apps on one device. After significant R&D, there is no technical way to detect whether dual apps are installed, making SKEDit compatibility impossible at this time.

If you have dual messengers installed, consider removing one:

  • On Xiaomi: you may get a "file not supported" error when selecting a contact.
  • On Samsung: auto-send fails because a pop-up asks which WhatsApp version to use.

We will work on this compatibility as soon as it is technically possible.

WhatsApp succeeds on the first repeat, then fails — how to fix?

1. Turn OFF Battery Optimization for SKEDit
Battery Optimization (Android 6.0+) can automatically disable Accessibility for SKEDit, causing automation to fail. Disable it for SKEDit in your device settings.

2. Turn ON Auto-start for SKEDit
On some devices (Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO, Vivo), Auto-start is disabled by default, preventing SKEDit from restarting after a reboot. Enable Auto-start for SKEDit in your device settings.

If issues persist, email [email protected] with a video showing what happens at the scheduled time.

Error: "Some attachment paths are no longer valid. Skipping them."

The two most common causes:

  • The file is stored on an external memory card.
  • You are trying to attach a file from Google Drive (not supported).
If you are on SKEDit v2.9.7, please update to the latest version on Google Play to resolve this.
Error: HTTP 503 Service Unavailable — Back-end server is at capacity

This error means SKEDit is experiencing server downtime and is undergoing maintenance. This is rare and should be resolved within a maximum of 2 days. If it's taking too long, email us at [email protected].

WhatsApp message sent to the wrong recipient — what to do?

1. Never schedule two messages at the exact same time
Time conflicts are the most common cause of recipient mismatch. Space messages a few minutes apart, especially when the first message has many recipients.

2. Make sure each contact name is unique

  • No two contacts should share the same name — the first 24 characters must be unique.
  • Do NOT name a WhatsApp group the same as a contact or another list.
  • Avoid emojis in contact names — these can cause mismatches or failures.

3. Do not tap the screen during automation
Wait until the message is delivered before using your device.

Can't sign in — receiving "incorrect email and/or password"

Try resetting your password:

  1. Tap Sign in
  2. Tap Forgot Password
  3. Enter the email used to create your account
  4. Follow the link in the email to set a new password
  5. Sign in with your new password

If it says "Email is invalid or doesn't exist", double-check the spelling. Still stuck? Email [email protected].

Scheduled emails do not show in my Sent Items folder

Emails sent through SKEDit do not appear in your Sent Items folder. This is not a bug — it's a technical limitation for security reasons.

Workaround: BCC yourself when scheduling to keep a copy in your inbox.

Forgot Password email not showing in my mailbox

1. Check your spam folder — the reset email may have been filtered as spam.

2. Check if it was blocked — your company's server may have blocked it. Ask your IT admin to whitelist [email protected], then request a new link.

Still nothing? Email [email protected] or open a Help Center ticket.

My phone keeps beeping/vibrating for no reason

This is caused by the Notification Reminder feature on some Android devices — it alerts you to unread notifications at regular intervals. To turn it off:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Notifications (or Accessibility)
  3. Tap Notification Reminder
  4. Turn it OFF
